ROCK HILL, S.C. – The High Point University men's basketball team is ONE WEEK away from opening the 2026-27 season and it doesn't get much better than kicking off the season at MIDNIGHT! The Panthers will tip-off against Liberty University for the first game in all of college basketball at 12:02 a.m. on November 2 in Rock Hill, S.C. for the Field of 68 Opening Day Marathon.

This will be High Point's second time opening the season at the Field of 68 Opening Day Marathon and the first matchup against the Flames since the 2017-18 season when Liberty competed as a member in the Big South Conference.
