Coy O. Williard Stadium was dedicated in 2007, making High Point University’s baseball facility one of the best in the Big South. Erath Field’s natural-grass surface has long been the home of HPU baseball, and it has undergone major renovations since 2001, including a new infield, irrigation system and scoreboard.

With the dedication of Williard Stadium in 2007, additions included 501 custom purple seats, a full press box and hospitality suite, restrooms and a concession stand. Lights were also added in 2007, allowing HPU to play its first official night games.

In Januray 2009, the field was upgraded with a new warning track and a Field Turf halo with the HPU logo behind home plate. In preparation for the 2010 season, the fence in right center field was lowered to allow spectators to watch the game from the outfield.
