The High Point University Panther Club will hold its ninth annual Benefit Dinner & Auction presented by BB&T on Friday, Sept. 18 at the Showplace in downtown High Point. This year's event is "A Purple Tie Affair" - with purple ties and scarves available for purchase to wear to the event.

The High Point University Panther Club Benefit Dinner & Auction, "A Purple Tie Affair," presented by BB&T is one of the Panther Club's marquee events and the Panther Club's largest annual fundraiser. Now in its ninth year, Purple HPU ties and scarves are available to purchase and people are encouraged to wear them to the event.
This extraordinary event includes a social hour, silent auction, dinner and live auction. Slane & Slane is going to unveil its new HPU jewelry line at this year's event. The Panther Club Board of Directors strives to provide an array of fantastic items for both the silent auction and live auction. Past items included jewelry items from Slane & Slane, flat screen TVs, furniture, weekend getaways, golf outings, tickets to sporting events, sports memorabilia and many gift certificates.
