Junior Evan LaRocque of the High Point University men's golf team was named as a member of the 2009-10 Big South All-Academic team the conference announced on Sunday. LaRocque, a Business major has a 3.52 grade-point average.

LaRocque has competed in nine events for the Panthers this season and a tenth as an individual. He has compiled a stroke average of 78.19. 19 of his 26 rounds this season have counted towards team scoring. LaRocque's highest finish of the season came at the WSSU Invitational where he finished tied for ninth with a 36-hole score of 159.

High Point will finish the season at the 2010 Big South Men's Golf Tournament in Ninety-Six, S.C. The three-day event at the Patriot Golf Club runs from Monday through Wednesday (April 19-21). The Panthers are the No. 7 seed and will tee-off in the first group between 8 and 8:40 a.m., on Monday.
