High Point University is providing a bus for HPU students who want to watch the Big South Women's Soccer Championship on Sunday at 2 p.m. hosted by Charleston Southern. HPU plays Winthrop for the league title and a bid to the NCAA Tournament. Students must register for the bus at Campus Concierge by 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets for High Point University men's and women's basketball games are now on sale on the web. The men's basketball team opens with an exhibition game on Tuesday before its regular-season opener against UNC Pembroke on Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Millis Center. The women's basketball team opens the season against Navy on Nov. 13 and plays its home opener against UNC Greensboro on Nov. 21. Season tickets start at $80.

Jillie Johnston (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central) scored her first goal of the season in the 99th minute to send the seventh-seeded High Point University women’s soccer team to the finals of the Big South Women’s Tournament with a 1-0 win over Radford in the semifinals Friday night in Charleston, S.C. The Panthers will face No. 8 Winthrop in the finals on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Megan Kaminskas (Flagstaff, Ariz., Flagstaff) totaled 10 kills and three blocks as the High Point University volleyball team beat Gardner-Webb 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-22) Friday at the Millis Center.
