Erin Reynolds (Beckley, W.Va./Woodrow Wilson) scored a career-high 18 points but a late run but the High Point University women’s basketball team fell, 66-60 Monday night in Charleston, S.C. The Panthers led by eight with nine minutes left but were outscored 24-10 down the stretch.

The High Point University Athletic Department is beginning its fundraising campaign to add first-class locker room facilities in the Steele Sports Center for the new women's lacrosse team. The HPU varsity women's lacrosse team will begin play in the spring of 2011.

The High Point University baseball team will host the second annual Baseball Olympics on Thursday, Feb. 18 from 2-5 p.m. at Williard Stadium. The event will help kickoff the 2010 baseball season which begins Friday, Feb. 19 when the Panthers host UNC Charlotte at 4 p.m. at Williard Stadium. To register a team contact Bryan Peters at

Eugene Harris each scored 19 points but the Panthers couldn't overcome a second-half scoring drought and took a 77-63 loss to Radford on Sunday afternoon at the Dedmon Center in Radford, Va.
Corey Law scored eight points and pulled down 10 rebounds in the loss.
