HPU Athletic Training Visitor Information

The High Point University athletic training staff is dedicated to not only helping our athletic teams, but also those teams that may be visiting for the first time or back for another conference match-up. To ensure this quality coverage, a certified athletic trainer will be in attendance at all  athletic events. The Sports Medicine clinic is located in the Millis Athletic Convocation  Center  and will be open two hours prior to the start of the contest. The following modalities are available for your use: E-stim, ultrasound, hydrocollator packs, whirlpools, ice, and diathermy. If a first responder is traveling with your team, please send a letter, signed by a certified athletic trainer, requesting treatments for your athletes. If your team is traveling without an athletic trainer, please notify us in advance so that we can make proper arrangements. During an event, the following items will be provided: Ice water, cups, ice bags, and biohazard waste containers. Also, a spine board, splints, and crutches will be available if needed. Turn left out of front parking lot onto College Drive, turn right on Montilieu Avenue, take to Main St. (311) and turn left. Go 1/2 block and turn right onto Ray St., take to Lindsay St. and turn left. Go two blocks (Brick building on the right).

High Point Regional Hospital Emergency Room

Turn left out of front parking lot onto College Drive, turn right onto Montilieu Avenue, take to Main St. (311) and turn left. Go 1/2 block and turn right onto Ray St., Emergency Room entrance will be on left hand side before reaching Lindsay St.

Turn right out of front parking lot, turn right onto Lexington, follow into Jamestown, becomes Main Street. Urgent Care located on left hand side before the light at Scientific. If you see city pool you just passed the urgent care facility.
