Baseball team to host Baseball Olympics Feb. 18

The High Point University baseball team will host the second annual Baseball Olympics on Thursday, Feb. 18 from 2-5 p.m. at Williard Stadium. The event will help kickoff the 2010 baseball season which begins Friday, Feb. 19 when the Panthers host Charlotte at 4 p.m. at Williard Stadium.
HPU students can register teams of five to compete in the Baseball Olympics. Teams will compete in corn hole, speed pitch, home run derby and wiffle ball. All participants will receive a free t-shirt courtesy of HPU athletics. The winning team will also receive HPU baseball hats.
