High Point University has added Jenna Wrieden as assistant coach of men's and women's cross country and track & field, head coach Mike Esposito announced on Monday. Wrieden previously worked at Queens University, Arizona State and Appalachian State.

The High Point University women's track & field team was named a 2010 Division I All-Academic team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The team earned a 3.26 cumulative grade-point average and had two athletes achieve a 4.0 GPA last fall.

The High Point University women's cross country and track & field team has added Kayleigh Perry to its 2010-11 recruiting class, head coach Mike Esposito announced on Wednesday. Perry is a standout distance runner from Eastern Lebanon Country High School in Pennsylvania.

Head coach Mike Esposito has announced that eight student-athletes will join the High Point University women's track & field team this fall. Middle distance runners Colleen Hollowood and Audrey Malloy, pole vaulters Jackie Chester, Libby Cooper and Veronica Peskosky, sprinters Shannon Corbett and Megan Lowery as well as field athlete Kaitlin Whittington will join HPU.

Sophomore Christina Fenske was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District team for women's track & field announced by College Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA) on Thursday. Fenske set the HPU record in the high jump this season.
