        <description>The High Point University baseball team surrendered five home runs in a tough 17-8 loss at 17th-ranked Coastal Carolina on Saturday night at Watson Stadium/Vrooman Field.The Panthers fell to 18-29 overall and 8-9 in Big South action after dropping the second game of the series with the nationally-ranked Chanticleers (40-11, 14-3).</description>

        <description>The High Point University baseball team forced 17th-ranked Coastal Carolina to extra innings on Friday night before dropping a hard fought 7-6 decision at Watson Stadium/Vrooman Field.HPU slipped to 18-28 overall and 8-8 in Big South play with the loss while CCU improved to 39-11 and a league-leading 13-3. It was the Panthers third extra-inning contest in their last six games and marked Coastal's fifth exta-inning game of the season.</description>

        <description>The High Point University baseball team heads to the beach this weekend as the Panthers meet 18th-ranked Coastal Carolina in an important Big South Conference series at Watson Stadium/Vrooman Field.The Panthers (18-27, 8-7 Big South) and Chanticleers (38-11, 12-3) will square off in a three-game series beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday night. The teams are also scheduled to play on Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.</description>

        <description>After falling behind early, the High Point University baseball team made a late charge before falling 9-7 to Longwood University on Wednesday night at Coy O. Wllliard Sr Stadium.With the loss, HPU slipped to 18-27 on the season, while Longwood upped its yearly mark to 22-23. The victory by the Lancers gave them a season split in their two game series with the Panthers with both road teams earning a win.</description>
